Accessibility statement

Accessibility is part of how we think about safety. We work to make this website usable by as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technology.

Standard we work to

This site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test against this standard during development and in periodic reviews.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, lists, and landmarks;
  • Full keyboard navigability, including a "skip to content" link on every page;
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements;
  • Colour contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA;
  • Alternative text for meaningful images, with decorative images marked as such;
  • Forms with explicit labels, autocomplete attributes, and accessible error messaging;
  • Responsive layout that works without horizontal scrolling at 320px viewport width;
  • Respect for the user's prefers-reduced-motion preference (no parallax or auto-playing motion).

Known limitations

We're aware of, and working on, the following:

  • Some PDF resources are pending an accessibility re-tag. If you need a tagged version of any document, please contact us and we'll prioritise.
  • Decorative SVGs are still being audited for any redundant labels.

Compatible technology

The site is tested against current versions of:

  • Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on macOS and Windows;
  • Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android;
  • VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), NVDA (Windows) and TalkBack (Android).

Reporting a barrier

If you find a barrier on this site, please tell us. We treat accessibility issues as production bugs and aim to acknowledge reports within two business days.
